Summary: In nature, deception is survival. Some of the most skilled predators and successful eluders depend on a good disguise. Why should a stain of mutant killer bugs be any different?

History: In order to combat roaches spreading a deadly epidemic, New York's scientists crafted the Judas Breed, a species of insect that would hunt the roaches down and never mate. Sure enough, the disease was a thing of the past. Flash forward to years later, and a new problem has arisen. There are account of people disappearing in the subways, and strange cloaked figures behind it all. As it turns out, the Judas Breed evolved rapidly since its release, reproducing asexually and growing to a man's size. Worse, the Judas Breed have discovered how to shape their armor like the body and face of a human, so those who don't know better are in for a bloody death.

Notable Kills: Nothing special.

Final Fate: The Judas Breed are killed over and over again. It helps that they're not invulnerable. But their species is spreading across the country, and it won't be long before it all escalates into all-out war.

Powers/Abilities: The Judas Breed can reproduce asexually, and can mimic certain humans with their armor.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 4-Imagine a 6-foot tall cockroach/termite/mantis horror coming at you either really slowly or barreling at you with nothing but food on its mind. That's what it's like to be stalked by any of the Judas Breed. It's method of disguising is nothing short of disgusting, and its massive talons are perfect for turning you into bloody swiss cheese. Could use a bit of work on the CGI, though.

Trivia: -This was Guillermo del Toro's first English-language film, and by far one of his worst experiences ever. The Weinstein Company had no respect for his vision, and inflicted insane re-shoots and script re-writes upon him. He wanted nothing to do with this film or that company ever again. It was just one of many times del Toro was knocked down by Hollywood, and it wouldn't be the last.

-The original ending to the first film had a Judas bug in a perfect disguise demanding that humanity leave their race alone, alongside hundreds of others already in the public.
